Hello again!
So i thought I would have heaps of time to 'blog' but evidently I don't... or I am just lazy!
Ok so I went to see 'The Last Song' the other night with some of my friends and I came out of the movie a little disappointed :( seriously the people who make the trailers for movies are very sneaky! Trailers can make movies look so amazing and then when you see them you realise that either all the good/funny parts were in the trailer (so you've already seen them 100 times) or they are absolutely nothing like what you thought the movie would be about causing almost instant disappointment. There should be some kind of rule that makes them follow true to the movies actual plot, not something made up of smooshed together scenes! Like for instance the movie 'Georgia Rule'

that trailer made me think that I was going to be seeing a movie about a mother and daughter going to spend the summer with the grandmother and how they don't get along but then they learn to love each other inspite of their differences (oh how lovely) but oh boy was I wrong!!! The movie is actually about Lindsay Lohan's character and her past. The mum isn't even in most of the movie... the trailer threw me right off!
Oh and like 'The Bounty Hunter' wtf was up with that movie! c'mon Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston, you guys are better than that! The trailer made it seem like it was purely about a man trying to get his ex-wife to jail as it was his job as a bounty hunter to do so and that over that time they realise they miss each other and blah blah blah but actually it has like 4 other side stories going on at once.! It was way too much... They would have been better just sticking to that one plot line and focussing on that, making it funnier or whatever but they didn't and it sucked! I would only give it 2 stars, if that. See the trailer told you one thing and you got something else - instant disappointment :(
Don't get me wrong, I still love watching trailers because I love movies so I still believe that what I see in them will actually be what the movie is like/about but I suppose I am now just a little more skeptical. never judge a movie by it's trailer
Anyway back to 'The Last Song'. I love, love, love Miley and I was super stoked to see this movie, but something just wasn't quite right about it! I mean, it was a good movie and as the movie progressed it got better but I dunno it just didn't do it for me. (which

kills me to sad)
Miley plays a character names Ronnie who is little bit dark and angry after her parents divorce many years earlier and she and her brother go to stay with their dad, who they never see anymore, for the summer. Ronnie is not pleased by this so she acts like a little bitch to everyone around her. I think that Miley is an amazing actress but she just couldn't pull off 'bitch' I don't know if it's because of the whole Hannah Montana thing or not but I just didn't believe her which just made me laugh on certain scenes instead of feeling anger or saddness which I suppose I was supposed to be feeling. But as the movie continued and Ronnie became less of a bitch, the movie got heaps better :) Then of course in the movie Ronnie falls in love....awwww.... and that love story has its fair share of ups and downs in the small amount of time that they are dating (but hey what teen love story in a movie doesn't). Liam Hemsworth plays her love interest in the movie (and in real life) and although I don't think that he is super hot, I do love the fact that he is an Aussie and I especilly love the fact that he is from Philip Island which is pretty close to where I live so theoretically the chances of me ever meeting Miley just doubled... hahaha!
I will of course be seeing this movie again even though it didn't knock my socks off... I give it 3 stars!
Before I go I thought I would just let you all know that I am planning to help Ellen with her WORLD DOMINATION! I have ordered some things of her website and I plan on going around Melbourne with these items (and my friends) taking pictures and sending them into her. This way she will know that she has begun to dominate Melbourne! I think Ellen is hilarious and an inspiration to us all ... click here to watch a clip of her dancing! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNpBN0mPwJ4
I will try to post again soon,
keep reading and always keep smiling :)
